Mixed Media Tag Make Your Own Tag



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "MAKE YOUR OWN BACKGROUND". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Distress Spray Stains Set and Tim Holtz MINI STENCIL SET 3 on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS and Tim Holtz Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS MINI.


I started this project with trimming the watercolor paper and pasted it on the #8 tag. I sprayed Tim Holtz Distress Spray with various colors on the background of the tag, and stenciled with Tim Holtz MINI STENCIL set 3. I then stamped the background of the tag with a text print stamp from Prima and a black ink pad. The tag was distressed with a Distress Paint and outlined with a black pen.


I attahed some paper dolls and Tim Holtz metal embellishments on the tag. some sentiments were added with Tim Holtz Tim Holtz Idea-ology Quote Chip Labels, Tim Holtz Idea-ology CLIPPINGS Sticker Book and Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS.

Mixed Media Tag Spring Flowers



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "SPRING FLOWERS". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using   Tim Holtz Sizzix WILDFLOWER STEMS 1 Thinlits Die and Tim Holtz Sizzix FUNKY NATURE ThinlitsDies to create the spring flowers and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology Quote Chip Labels.


I started this project with trimming the watercolor paper and pasted it on the #8 tag. I colored the background of the tag with watercolors and outlined the tag with a black pen. 


The flowers were die cut using card stock with various colors and Big Shot Machine. I arranged flowers and pasted them on the tag using foam tapes. The Tim Holtz meal embellishments were attached on the tag. I added some sentiments with Tim Holtz Idea-ology Quote Chip Labels and Tim Holtz Idea-ology METALLIC Sticker Book to finish off this SPRING FLOWERS project.

Tag Whatever The Weather



Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "WHATEVER THE WEATHER". For the first Monday of April, we are showcasing Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Products. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but we would love to see them used if you have them. Our guest designer in the Designer Spotlight this month is Estelle aka atouscrap. Please visit her blog for all the fantastic inspiration and projects!


I was inspired to create a tag using Simon Says Clear Stamps Howdy Dear Friend  and the black ink pad to stamp the image on the watercolor paper. I trimmed the watercolor paper and pasted it on the #8 tag. I used a black marker to outline the tag. 


The tag was colored with Zig Clean Color 30 COLOR SET A Real Brush. I finished off this tag with adding a sentiment sticker using Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS. I really enjoyed creating project with the blue sky and bright sunshine. Hope you like the good weather on my project, too. :)

Mixed Media Tag Hello Friend Sweetie Emboss It


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "EMBOSS IT". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Sizzix MOSAIC 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder on the background, and decorated it with Simon Says Clear Stamps Hey Sweetie and Tim Holtz Idea-ology SENTIMENTS Label Stickers.


To start this project, I trimmed the watercolor paper into #8 tag and embossed it using Big Shot machine and Tim Holtz embossing folder. I pasted the embossed watercolor paper tag on to Tim Holtz Etcetera #8 TAG CHIPBOARD. The tag was colored with Zig Clean Color 30 COLOR SET A Real Brush and distressed with an art dauber and Distress Ink Pad. I also online the tag using a black pen. 


On a piece of watercolor I stamped the images of an ice cream, strawberries and the sentiment. These images were colored with watercolors, then cut and pasted on the tag. I added Tim Holtz Label Stickers to finish off this sweet mixd media tag with an embossed background.

Mixed Media Tag Food and or Drink Coffee


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "FOOD and/or DRINK". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps FRESHLY BREWED BLUEPRINT on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology STITCHED SCRAPS Embellishments and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Quote Chip Labels.


To start this project, I trimmed the watercolor paper and pasted it on the #8 tag. I stamped the coffee beans on the tag and colored it with watercolors. On a piece of watercolor paper, I stamped the cup of coffee image, colored it with watercolors and pasted int on the tag using the double sided foam tape. 


The tag was distressed with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad and Art Daubers. I outlined the tag using a black pen. To finish off this coffee tag, I added the Tim Holtz sentiment chip and a clip.

Mixed Media Missing You Green Tag


Hello, my dear blog friends, welcome back to the new challenge. This week at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge our theme is "A BIT O' GREEN". I was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Simon Says Stamps and Dies Easter Critters on the background, colored the tag with Zig Clean Color 30 COLOR SET A Real Brush and added sentiments using Tim Holtz Idea-ology CLIPPINGS Sticker Book. 


I started this project with stamping the cute image using Simon Says Stamp on the background and colored it with Zig watercolors. Th image was colored using the same set of watercolors. 


I added the sentiments with the stamps in the same collection and from the Tim Holtz sticker book. For the final step, I added the ribbon that was made with seam binding that already colored using Tim Holtz Distress Spray.
